Books I’ve Read More Than Once

I love to reread books for a lot of different reasons. Sometimes, it’s just been too long since I’ve last read it and I want to get a refresher. Other times, I feel like a reread might help me grasp the story or concept better. But, more than anything, I like to reread books that I absolutely love just so I can experience them all over again.

Rereading Books is honestly really important to me and it makes for such a great experience. Here are just a few books that I’ve gone through more than once:

 Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

This is arguably my favorite book of all time so I love to reread it. I picked this up for the first time years ago and instantly fell in love with the story. My most recent reread was just a few months back, and I’ve found that it only gets better and more special each time.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

I was a enormous fan of this book in high school. I mean, I had an “Okay? Okay” shirt and everything. I probably went through this at least 4 times. It’s been years since I’ve read it, but I’d like to think it’s still as good as I remember.

The Infernal Devices Trilogy by Cassandra Clare

This series is beyond incredible. I know I’ve read it all the way through twice, and maybe Clockwork Princess even more than that. That one is, by far, my favorite of the three. Anyway, this series is brilliant, and I love Will Herondale with my entire heart.

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

This is one of those books I wanted to reread to get a better grasp of it. If you haven’t read Colleen Hoover before, you should know that she includes extremely unexpected plot twists in all of her books. I thought I should read this again knowing where she was going with the twist! And I wasn’t disappointed.

The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins

These were my absolute favorite in middle school. I don’t actually know how many times I’ve read this series; probably at least 3 or 4 times. It’s such a classic. I love these, and they make me so nostalgic.

Do you like to reread books? What books have you reread? Have you read any of the books I mentioned?

  1. The last time I reread TFIOS was on the morning of my first exam in university. I woke up super early because I was so nervous (like 4 o’clock in the morning when my exam was at 9) and I sped through the whole thing!

I’ve also read THG over and over again. I’m actually planning to pick them up again soon!

  2. I know this is an unpopular book opinion, but I’m actually not the biggest fan of TFIOS. I’m not entirely sure why, but yaaa. But I really love TID and Maybe Someday! ☺️

    1. No worries!! I still love TFIOS and the story, but it could be a nostalgia thing because it was one of my favorites years ago. I would probably have to read it again to have an official opinion.

And I’m glad to hear you love TID and Maybe Someday 😊 Both so good!

    1. I’m happy you like rereading books too😊 I still have to reread Harry Potter because I haven’t read it since I was very young!

  3. I reread all the time. Probably more than I should tbh, but I just really love coming back to my old favourites. I’ve read Harry Potter so many times that I just about wore it out (I’m talking 10+ times in a span of maybe two years), and made myself stop maybe a year ago, because I was actually legit starting to get tired of it. (oops.)
And just like, most of my favourites have been reread. Especially the ones I read before 2017… (Because I had less other books to read then…)
Rereading is sort of my go to when I’m feeling sad or mad or bored.
And I definitely have plans to reread Carry On before Wayward Son comes out!

    1. Harry Potter is worth SO many rereads. It’s my all time favorite series, but I have to admit I’ve only read it all the way through one time (I know that’s hard to believe!). I’ve just had tons of other books I need to get to and HP is so long. But, I am desperate to reread it again because it’ll be just as magical.

I totally get what you mean on rereading when you feel sad or bored! It’s just comforting to go back to favorite books.

You should definitely reread Carry On before Wayward Son! It only gets better every time. And to be honest, it wasn’t even a huge favorite of mine until I reread it 🙂

    1. Rereading books really is the best, isn’t it?? TID is so good! And I haven’t read the Bloodlines series, but I’ll have to add it to my TBR for sure!

    1. I know right! I wish I could reread books more often too but there are just SO many new books to get to. TFIOS and THG would definitely be worth a reread though 😊

  4. Ahh TFIOS makes me cry with every reread! It’s been ages since I even picked up the book, but yes I had my whole teenage obsession with it as well! I always want to rewatch the movie but I can’t put myself through all those tears again, it made me cry so much!

    1. Oh I know how you feel 😭 It definitely broke my heart. The movie was so good but I’d have to prepare myself for the tears!!

  5. I very rarely read a book more than once. However, Bright Side by Kim Holden….😍 I read this book every year on my daddy’s birthday. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it. Especially if you like Colleen Hoover

    1. I just looked this this up, and I’ve heard of it before, but haven’t read it. It sounds really good so I’ll definitely have to add it to my TBR. Thanks for the recommendation! 😃

      1. My pleasure. It’s definitely an amazing story and the closest thing I’ve ever found to a CoHo book without it being a CoHo book. You’ll definitely want to follow it up with Gus. Bright Side will break you and Gus will heal you.

      2. That’s so good to hear because CoHo is one of my favorites. Knowing there’s a book out there that’s similar to her style is great news. Can’t wait to read it!

      1. You’re welcome Brianna! I’m so happy that you’re happy! I was starting to fear that you would get annoyed 😅
And don’t worry about it! Post them whenever you feel like it! It’s definitely overwhelming to keep having to post them all the time. It’s actually smarter to post them all together…
Also thank you for the kind words! ❤️
